Decorate Your Home For Fall
This year I’ve been looking very much forward to fall and Halloween. Fall is truly one of my favorite seasons with all the beautiful autumn colors of nature. This year I wanted to go (almost) all in on fall/Halloween decor through all October. I hope to inspire others to perhaps do the same.
Whether it might be fake or real pumpkins, they bring such a cozy fall/Halloween vibe that I truly enjoy. This year I’ve bought 15 pumpkins as decor and I haven’t bought the ones I’m going to carve yet. You may call me a crazy fall lady.
Fall is all about nesting in your home and doing self-care. Creating a relaxing atmosphere. Not just scented candles, but candles in general can bring such a warm feeling. However scented candles can bring you in the perfect mood for each season with its many scents.
PILLOWS AND BLANKETS
It’s never a bad thing to have too many blankets and pillows. These bring such coziness to your home and you can change pillowcases every season for maximum decor.
Exploit the colors of nature. Bring nature indoors. There are so many creative ways to decorate your home without spending money.
I d e a s :
- Collect and press colorful leaves, put them in a frame and hang it up on your wall.
- Look for pine cones in the woods, (paint them) and decorate in a bowl.
- Go for a walk and make your own fall bouquet with wildflowers, branches and so on.
Something I love (almost) as much as coffee, is pretty mugs. I enjoy collecting different kinds and preferably the different-looking ones.
I found these Jack-O-Lantern’s in my local supermarket, and it was a musthave for my home. I’ve always enjoyed having string lights in my home and change them up for each season. These are just perfect for Halloween.
